Meghan Gadsden- PRESIDENT
Meghan Gadsden is excited to serve as this year’s president of BOSS Dance Company. She is a senior pursuing a degree in public relations with a minor in business administration and will begin her master’s in public relations in the spring. Originally from Charlotte, NC, Meghan is in her third year with BOSS, having grown up in the competition/convention dance circuit and rounding out her competition career with Dance Productions: the Remix of Harrisburg, NC. Outside of BOSS, she works as a Tennessee athletics strategic communications intern and serves as the Director of Communications for student government. She values personal and professional growth while building meaningful relationships with others. In her role as president, Meghan oversees all administrative duties related to the company. She is thankful for this opportunity and looks forward to all the exciting things coming for BOSS!
Ian Agbannaoag- VICE PRESIDENT
Ian is a junior kinesiology major here at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. This is his third year on BOSS, second year as a student-choreographer, and his first year serving as vice president on the executive board. Ian grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee and danced at Ginger Brown’s Dance Academy. He began choreographing and coaching at the studio during high school and received a few choreography awards at competitions. Ian always looks forward to BOSS rehearsals every week and is very grateful for all of the friendships and connections he’s developed throughout his time in the company. He is excited to be part of the executive board and help foster a positive dance community for new and current members!
Robin Schlimm- HEAD OF DIRECTORS
Robin is a Senior Mechanical Engineering student at UTK and currently serves as the BOSS head of directors. This is her 4th year in BOSS, 3rd year as a student choreographer, and 2nd year on the executive board. Robin grew up dancing competitively and was a member and captain of her high school dance team in Missouri. She is very excited to complete her senior year with all the amazing friends she has met through her time with BOSS, and she looks forward to continue working with our 18 incredible directors!!
Madison Insolia- SECRETARY
Madison is a junior journalism and electronic media major, with a concentration in sports media, at UT! This is her 3rd year on BOSS, and her first year serving as Secretary on the Executive Board. She grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, competitively dancing at Carolina Dance Capital since she was 13! Over her time at Carolina Dance Capital, she has received multiple national titles with Star Dance Alliance as a team, as well as individually with solos and duos! BOSS has allowed her to only continue her love and passion for dance, while still having fun with her best friends she's made along the way! She is an avid writer, so being BOSS's secretary is her cup of tea for sure!
Natalie Adkins- TREASURER
Nat is a senior marketing major here at UTK and this is her second year serving as the company’s treasurer! She grew up in Knoxville as a member of the West Valley and Bearden Dance Team. In her time there she was able to earn six national championships. In college, she has gone back to those two programs as an assistant coach and has been able to help lead the team to four national championships. She has been a UDA staff member for the past three years and within the company she has helped choreograph routines taught all over the country. She recently joined Fusion Dance Complex’s staff and teaches students of all ages there! Nat absolutely loves BOSS as it allows her to continue her passion for dance, be involved with the university, and make the most out of the college experience with new best friends that share a similar passion. She can’t wait to handle all of the financial’s this year!!!
Eden Rowland- SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Eden Rowland grew up in Johnson city, Tennessee, and trained as a competitive dancer at her studio, revolution dance company. Eden is a senior at the university of Tennessee Knoxville pursuing a degree in marketing with a collateral in sales. she was the tap teacher at her studio in 2018 until she graduated high school in may of 2021. she teaches tap, leaps and turns, hip hop, and audition prep at knox dance worx. This is her fourth season in boss dance company, and this is her third season doing student choreography. she is serving as this years social media manager. with the help of the media team, eden creates, captures, and edits all content that she shares to the company’s instagram and website. she is so excited to continue to share dance (especially tap!!) with boss dance company for her last year!
